Alcona County Republicans
Monthly Meeting
Tuesday, July 17th, 2018 at 7:00 PM
Harrisville Township Hall, 114 S. Poor Farm Rd., Harrisville, MI 48740
We have candidates for County Commissioner districts 1 & 4 coming to speak to us. District 1 commissioner Dan Gauthier is facing challenger Craig Klemens. District 4 commissioner Adam Brege is being challenged by David Bielusiak. Join us to hear what each candidate brings to the table for this race.
Â
Also, speaking on Tuesday, is Craig Johnston, County Commissioner District 2 who will be explaining the millage proposals. More than anything else on the ballot, these proposals cause confusion. Come listen to Craig explain the proposals and ask any questions that you have to make an informed decision on August 7.
Â
Our keynote speaker of the evening is Representative Sue Allor who will be giving us an overview of the legislative session. What was done in Lansing over the last year? You will know if you come to next weeks meeting!
